Job description

The Systems Developer III provides custom software development/integration based on Lifecycle development of materiel. This position is a senior technical role responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of data-centric systems that enable collaborative research and data analysis. This position often serves as a Technical Project Lead who translates requirements from stakeholders into secure, adaptable distributed systems for acquiring, transforming, and disseminating data., * System Architecture & Development: Designs and builds scalable data systems, including Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes, data warehousing, and reporting platforms to support internal stakeholders.

  • Ensures all developed products meet strict state, federal, and sponsor requirements for data security, including the protection of sensitive information
  • Provides thought leadership on Big Data technologies
  • Mentors junior developers
  • Manages code standards and technical sign-offs.
  • Works directly with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data models, and ensure solutions align with customer objectives.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala, expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data ecosystems

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and multitasking skills, * Over 5 years of Army logistics or Army analytics experience
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
  • Secret Clearance required
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.
  • U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior U.S. Army data analytics experience
  • Masters degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with Army STAMIS to include GCSS-A and Vantage
  • Experience with MS Office products including Power BI and Power Automate

Security / Compliance Requirements

  • Secret Clearance required
  • Must comply with all installation access requirements.
  • Must complete all required Government training.
