Job description
We are seeking an experienced IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Developer with strong expertise in Healthcare EDI transactions, NCPDP, and HIPAA integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting healthcare data transformation and validation solutions using IBM ITX/ITXA., * Design, develop, and maintain healthcare EDI solutions using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/ITXA).
- Implement and support NCPDP transactions with strong functional and technical understanding.

Develop and support HIPAA-compliant EDI transactions including:
- 270/271 Eligibility & Benefits
- 834 Enrollment
- 820 Premium Payment
- 835 Claims Payment
- 837 Healthcare Claims
Utilize IBM HIPAA Healthcare Pack and implement SNIP validation rules.
Build and maintain custom maps, validations, and business rules within ITX.
Develop and support integrations using XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and SOAP-based web services.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable healthcare integration solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI processing, mapping, and data transformation issues.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/ITXA).
- Extensive experience with NCPDP transactions and healthcare EDI processing.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA EDI standards, Healthcare Pack, and SNIP compliance rules.
- Experience developing custom edits, validations, and transformations in ITX.

Strong knowledge of:
- XML
- XSD
- XSLT
- WSDL
- SOAP Web Services
Working knowledge of Java development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Red Hat Fuse, 3Scale API Management, and related integration technologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise healthcare integration architectures and middleware platforms.
