Systems Engineer II (Cloud)

We are hiring a Systems Engineer II (Cloud) for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a large-scale airport technology environment. This role is responsible for the administration, implementation, and optimization of cloud environments across Azure and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate will manage cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions while supporting cloud modernization initiatives and hybrid-cloud integrations., * Administer Azure and AWS environments, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and monitoring services.

• Implement cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and system updates.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Support hybrid-cloud integrations, secure connectivity, and workload migration initiatives.
• Implement cloud security controls, identity configurations, governance policies, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot cloud service issues and provide Tier 2/3 support for cloud-related incidents.
• Document cloud configurations, automation scripts, resource inventories, and environment baselines.
• Assist with the deployment of new cloud services, modernization projects, and application migrations.
• Collaborate with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams on cloud architecture and deployment activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Do you have experience in Technical writing?, * 3-5 years of experience administering Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.

• Strong knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, identity services (Azure AD/IAM), and monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices, governance frameworks, and policy management.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and support hybrid-cloud deployments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.
• Azure Administrator, Azure Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or similar certifications are preferred.
