Technical Operations & Troubleshooting
- Configure, install, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Maintain varying infrastructure environments, including but not limited to M365, AD, Entra ID and Workgroup
- Troubleshoot network and hardware issues across various client environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Quickly adapt to and master new client IT environments and emerging technologies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all client network layouts and ticketing resolutions.
- Administer existing and varying server environments in a Server Network administrator role.
Sales & Project Development
- Identify opportunities to upgrade or expand client infrastructure to solve their operational pain points.
- Assist in technical pre-sales, helping clients understand how specific IT solutions will benefit their business goals.
- Proactively seek out, scope, and pitch new IT projects to both new and existing clients.
- Contribute to revenue growth by identifying and scoping improvement opportunities in collaboration with company ownership/senior staff
Requirements
Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are seeking a highly self-motivated and adaptable Network Technician Level 2 to join our growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. You will act as a frontline technology advisor, handling complex network setups, troubleshooting client issues, and uncovering new project opportunities by aligning the right technology with our clients’ needs., * Quick Learner: Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend new hardware, software, and operational procedures in diverse client environments.
- Highly Self-Motivated: Proven capacity to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive projects to completion without constant oversight, all while maintaining excellent documentation and reporting practices for senior staff.
- Strong Technical Background: Solid foundation in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) and general IT/systems administration.
- Client-Facing Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical clients., * Bachelor’s degree in comparable field and IT certifications preferred. Real world experience of 3-5 years for a Managed services provider or similar required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have reliable transportation and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have professional and/or personal references available upon request
