Infrastructure Lead - VMware, Servers, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, implement, maintain, secure, and modernize enterprise infrastructure
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
• Manage VMware virtualization platforms and lifecycle activities
• Support Microsoft Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure
• Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services
• Support enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
• Lead infrastructure documentation and roadmap development efforts
• Drive modernization and cloud adoption initiatives
• Provide Tier 2/3 infrastructure escalation support
• Develop automation and configuration management solutions
• Support geographically distributed locations across multiple states
• Participate in infrastructure deployment activities including occasional physical installation and equipment management

Do you have experience in Windows support?, * 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, or related infrastructure experience

• administering enterprise Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Linux administration experience
• VMware vSphere/ESXi administration and lifecycle management experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services administration experience
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration experience
• Automation and scripting experience
• Experience administering Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online environments
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically distributed infrastructure environments
• Strong communication, documentation, relationship-building, and change management skills
• Ability to support occasional travel requirements and work in a hybrid environment

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day engineering responsibilities. In this position, you will own and manage enterprise infrastructure across server, virtualization, cloud, identity, and networking platforms. You will document current-state environments, develop future-state roadmaps, drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, and help shape long-term technology strategy. You will play a key role in cloud adoption efforts, virtualization strategy, infrastructure scaling, automation initiatives, and overall platform reliability.
