Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer / Integration Architect to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-led connectivity, Mule ESB, CloudHub deployments, and enterprise integration best practices. This role requires collaboration with architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions. Key Responsibilities Integration Design & Development

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support MuleSoft integration solutions using Mule ESB and Anypoint Platform.
  • Design and implement API-led connectivity solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Develop APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, JMS, and event-driven architectures.
  • Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration services and APIs.
  • Develop data transformations, validations, mappings, and business logic.
  • Support modernization and migration of legacy integrations to MuleSoft-based solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design enterprise integration solutions.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and integration roadmap planning.
  • Define and support API governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and security best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.

Cloud, DevOps & Platform Support

  • Deploy and support MuleSoft applications in CloudHub and hybrid environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Maven, or similar tools.
  • Automate deployment and operational support processes.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.

Security & Production Support

  • Implement secure integration practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, and API security policies.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, auditing, and exception handling frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues.
  • Monitor integration performance and optimize solutions for scalability and reliability.
  • Participate in incident response and production support activities.

Testing & Documentation

  • Develop and execute unit tests using MUnit.
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and source-to-target mapping.
  • Create technical documentation, API specifications, runbooks, and support procedures.
  • Manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule ESB.
  • Experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Expertise with XML, JSON, JMS, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity.
  • Experience with CloudHub and hybrid deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with MUnit testing.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, and API security practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise integration strategy and API governance.
  • Prior experience mentoring development teams.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns.
