Software Quality

We are looking for a seasoned Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing system software testing strategies to ensure the quality of our products. This role is crucial in ensuring the performance, reliability, and overall quality of our software systems., 1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.

1. Utilize Jira and Zephyr for effective defect tracking and management.
2. Work closely with the software development team to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
3. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and release.
4. Generate detailed defect reports and work with the development team to prioritize and resolve these issues.
5. Use ERP and Procurement systems to manage and track software development projects.
6. Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems.
7. Develop and implement strategies for automated testing to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets all technical and business requirements.
9. Use GitLab for version control and source code management.
10. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices to ensure that our testing strategies are up-to-date and effective.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
3. Strong experience with Jira, Zephyr, ERP, and Procurement systems.
4. Demonstrated experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
5. Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
6. Proficient in GitLab or similar version control systems.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
11. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
12. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
