Job description

The Oracle Manufacturing Planning Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing solutions. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders to analyze manufacturing processes, gather requirements, design solutions, and support end-to-end Oracle ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, supply chain planners, and stakeholders to gather requirements. Analyze current manufacturing and planning processes and identify improvement opportunities. Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle best-practice solutions. Oracle Manufacturing & Planning Implementation

Configure and support Oracle Manufacturing modules including: Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) Oracle Work in Process (WIP) Oracle Bills of Material (BOM) Oracle Inventory Management Oracle Cost Management Configure Oracle Planning modules: Supply Planning Demand Planning Master Production Scheduling (MPS) Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) Functional Design & Solution Development

Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and configuration documents. Design end-to-end manufacturing and planning solutions aligned with business requirements. Work with technical teams to develop customizations, interfaces, reports, and extensions.

Requirements

8+ years of Oracle Manufacturing and Planning functional experience. Multiple Oracle ERP implementation or upgrade projects. Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM implementations. Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and production planning processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
