Job description

The Systems Engineer will work closely with the Information Technology department to provide superior service and availability. Implementing new hardware, monitoring systems for maximum availability, responding quickly and planning efficiencies are the primary responsibilities for this position. This position reports directly to the AVP of Information Technology., * Maintain the physical and virtual server infrastructure located in the onsite data center as well as Microsoft Azure.

  • Maintain the active directory environment including Azure Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, DNS, and certificate management.
  • Manage and monitor 0365 environment including mail flow and collaboration products such as email, SharePoint, Teams, and licensing.
  • Monitor servers for growth and usage trends. Perform long-term capacity planning in conjunction with other team members that would determine both hardware and software purchases.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, SAN systems, DFS, other systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate degree in related technical discipline plus 3+ years’ work experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

  • Broad base of knowledge and skills in Microsoft Azure, system infrastructure, network topology and operating systems.
  • Exhibit a broad base of knowledge and skills in server infrastructure, and operating systems to include Windows, Linux, Hyper-V, VMware, SAN, Backup, and Microsoft Azure including but not limited to IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and serverless services.
  • Must have strong experience in M365
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
