This individual will work closely with leadership, operations, engineering, construction, finance, and technology teams to uncover insights, automate processes, and develop intelligent solutions that create measurable business value., Develop and deploy machine learning and AI solutions to improve business performance and operational efficiency. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities. Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Build scalable data solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications. Design and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate workflows and business processes. Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions. Support forecasting, resource planning, operational analytics, and performance reporting initiatives. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to productionize AI and ML models. Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. Stay current on emerging technologies, AI advancements, and industry best practices., Building scalable reporting and analytics solutions that improve decision-making. Developing AI-powered tools that automate manual processes and increase efficiency. Creating predictive models that help leadership make better operational and financial decisions. Bringing innovative ideas and emerging technologies to the business. Helping establish a modern data and AI practice that supports Forged Fiber 37//’s continued growth.

We are seeking a Data Scientist who is excited to help build the next generation of data and AI capabilities within our organization. Telecommunications or fiber experience is not required. We value curiosity, adaptability, and individuals who are eager to learn our business while bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches., The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through deployment., Bachelor//’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related role. Advanced SQL expertise with experience querying and optimizing large datasets. Strong experience developing dashboards and reports using Looker BI. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or model fine-tuning. Practical experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions. Experience building AI agents, autonomous workflows, or Agentic AI applications. Strong Python programming skills. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BigQuery and cloud-based data warehouses. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search technologies. Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and model deployment pipelines. Startup or high-growth company experience. Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, utilities, broadband, or telecommunications industries.
