The Membership Coordinator of Data Analysis & Collections supports the organization’s membership lifecycle and revenue objectives. This position assists with membership invoicing, collections, renewals, CRM administration, data maintenance, reporting, and membership support activities that drive engagement and retention.
This individual serves as the organization’s internal resource for CRM systems, membership data management, and reporting, while partnering closely with the Member Services & Sales team to support the membership renewal and collections process to ensure seamless member experience. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, tenacious, relationship-focused, and has a strong interest in helping Massachusetts businesses succeed by connecting them to valuable resources, services, and solutions., CRM Administration & Data Analysis
- Support the use and maintenance of CRM systems, membership databases, and related tools.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of membership data, including account updates and database clean-up.
- Generate and distribute standard reports related to membership growth, retention, and revenue tracking.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
- Provide basic support to staff on CRM usage and reporting tools.
- Assist with administrative workflows throughout the membership lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement tracking, renewals, and account updates.
- Respond to internal requests for membership data and reporting.
Renewals, Billing & Collections
- Support membership dues billing, invoicing, collections, and payment tracking processes.
- Track renewal timelines and assist with outreach and follow-up communications.
- Work with the Member Services & Sales team to support timely renewal processing.
- Maintain accurate records related to invoicing, collections, and member account status.
- Respond to member billing inquiries and provide customer support throughout the renewal process.
- Assist in monitoring renewal pipelines and payment activity.
Member Engagement & Support
- Provide day-to-day member service support, including responding to inquiries and coordinating follow-up.
- Serve as a point of contact for member questions, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Support outreach efforts to encourage member engagement with programs, services, and events.
- Assist in gathering member feedback to support improvements to the member experience.
- Support membership sales and engagement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Works under regular supervision with responsibility for supporting membership data management, reporting, collections, and renewals.
- Follows established processes and guidelines while handling member inquiries and data-related tasks.
- Collaborates with internal teams to support membership growth and retention objectives.
- Identifies and escalates issues or opportunities for improvement as appropriate.
- Answers routine member questions within area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in membership services, customer service, sales support, collections, CRM systems, or database support.
- Experience working with CRM systems and data entry/reporting.
- Familiarity with invoicing, collections, or renewals processes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Interest in supporting Massachusetts businesses and delivering a positive member experience., * membership services: 2 years (Preferred)
