Software Technician

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Housecall Pro CRM Administrator to take full ownership of our backend operations software. The ideal candidate does not do field labor; instead, you will act as the digital backbone of our home services business. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and updating our flat-rate price books, ensuring geographic dispatching is tight, and maximizing our system automations.

Key Responsibilities

Price Book Management: Consistently audit, update, and upload CSV/Excel price books into Housecall Pro. Adjust consumer pricing to absorb processing fees and match target profit margins for specific Georgia service radiuses (Macon, Griffin, Jackson).

Job Costing Setup: Hardcode contractor/labor costs into the backend of every service item so profit margins are automatically tracked.

Database Maintenance: Keep customer profiles, service histories, and automated tags organized and clean.

System Integration: Troubleshoot and manage connections between Housecall Pro, Namecheap custom domains, online booking portals, and automated customer notifications.

Dispatch Optimization: Ensure incoming leads (Thumbtack, Facebook) flow seamlessly into the system and match up with our service area parameters.

Do you have experience in Excel data analysis?, Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of direct experience managing Housecall Pro (Candidates with deep experience in ServiceTitan or Jobber will be considered).

Data Skills: Advanced proficiency with Excel / CSV data importing, exporting, and column mapping.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of flat-rate pricing models and gross margin calculations for the residential service trades (Handyman/Cleaning preferred).

Setup: Reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free remote work environment.

Traits: High level of integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently without being micromanaged.
