As a Utility Systems Repairer Operator, you will apply advanced skills to assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems in support of NIH facilities in Montgomery County, MD, Durham, NC and Hamilton, MT to include Bio-Safety (BSL) 3 & 4 Labs. • Utilize comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated skill of multiple trades/crafts to perform a full range of senior journeyman tasks
• Apply in-depth knowledge of utility systems to independently operate utility systems under varying load conditions
• Monitor operation, and repair of multiple utility systems and associated facilities and building systems and equipment
• Perform inspections, shift rounds, and preventative maintenance on utility systems and other equipment as required or directed
• Demonstrate expertise in the use, handling and maintenance of tools and equipment common to utility systems., * This position requires weekend hours, night shifts, regular or rotational shifts, holiday hours. This position has on-call or call-back requirements.
