Job description

We are seeking a seasoned IT Systems Admin / Engineer with expertise in Windows-based environments, Active Directory, Networking, Virtualization, Desktop Support, and Cybersecurity. This role supports clients in highly regulated industries such as Federal Government, Financial Services, Utilities & Energy., * Design, implement, and maintain secure Windows-based infrastructure across client environments.

Manage and optimize Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain trusts.
Configure and troubleshoot networking components (firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs).
Deploy and manage virtualization platforms.
Provide support for desktop, server, and network issues for both customers and internal stakeholders
Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with and support the Compliance Officer in preparation for and administration of both customer-led compliance audits and internal audit activity.
Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
Experienced in M365 / O365 Administration
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications network device configuration?, * 7 - 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles supporting secure environments.

Deep knowledge of Active Directory architecture and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience in network design, configuration, and diagnostics.
Proven expertise in virtualization technologies and resource optimization.
Strong background in desktop and server support in enterprise settings.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat mitigation.
Experience working in or supporting regulated industries (Federal, Financial, Utilities).
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Must be able to pass a background investigation., * Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Network+, CCNA, VMware VCP.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST, Zero Trust, CMMC
Active Security Clearance preferred
Experience with Active Directory, Hyper-V, Citrix, Trend Micro, SIEM
