Microsoft Access Application Lifecycle Management Software Applications IT Management Microsoft Dynamics Scrum Methodology Product Software Implementation Methods

Job description

  • Own ERP implementation programs from discovery through deployment and stabilization:
  • Document “as-is” processes and workflows end-to-end
  • Partner with the business to design “to-be” processes
  • Support ERP evaluation/selection (including options that may sit on/around Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Lead implementation execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination
  • Drive change adoption and stakeholder alignment (not just task tracking)
  • Coordinate critical phases requiring presence (deployments, key milestones, UAT)
  • Serve as the applications leader for a key business area-future application changes/updates flow through this role.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and executive sponsors; communicate risks, tradeoffs, costs, and options clearly.
  • Ensure application lifecycle discipline across strategize, architect, select, deploy, operate, evolve, and retire, with attention to reliability, access, and security.
  • Identify when third-party support is needed and help oversee vendor selection and engagement.

What Success Looks Like (and What You Must Bring)

  • You have owned major ERP implementations-not just supported a PMO, facilitated standups, or played a Scrum Master-only role.
  • You can speak credibly about the realities of implementation pressure points (scope decisions, process conflict, adoption resistance, data, cutover, controls, downstream reporting impacts) because you’ve been accountable for outcomes.
  • You operate as a business-facing implementation leader: you can lead process conversations, gain alignment, drive decisions, and keep delivery moving.
  • You’re comfortable stepping into an IT leadership seat-partnering with executives, carrying influence, and managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong track record leading large, cross-functional programs with full project teams, clear governance, and measurable delivery.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience (strong plus)
  • ERP experience in manufacturing and/or operational environments
  • Background in process improvement approaches (Lean, Six Sigma) is helpful, especially for documentation and optimization phases
