Job description

We are seeking a Hardware Testing Engineer to join our team developing positioning, control, and automation products for earthmoving and paving machines using GNSS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware test labs, vibration and environmental testing, and data integrity practices and a proven ability to plan and execute DVP&R, maintain robust documentation, and collaborate across validation teams., * Execute vibration and environmental stress tests on hardware assemblies and subsystems.

  • Configure test setups, instrumentation, and lab infrastructure to meet test plans.
  • Maintain data integrity, calibration records, and test documentation.
  • Use Jira for workflow and defect tracking and for test execution status.
  • Collaborate with validation and engineering teams to review results and resolve issues.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Validation design?, 1. Ability to run tests independently, including preparing wiring harnesses, assembling fixtures, and running scripts with training

  1. Discipline in keeping test data and project records accurate and up to date

  2. Ability to escalate test issues or product failures constructively to lead validation engineers and other colleagues, * 3+ years of experience in a hardware test lab environment. * Hands-on proficiency with DMMs, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. * Ability to plan and execute DVP&R and report test results. * Strong documentation, data management, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with environmental chambers or data acquisition systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-810 and SAE J1939.
  • Electronics assembly and soldering proficiency.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
