Oracle DBA

Architect, implement, and maintain Oracle databases with 2,000-3,000+ tables, ensuring scalability and performance.

Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts for automation, data manipulation, and system integration.

Design and execute data migration strategies, including cross-version upgrades (e.g., Oracle 11g to 19c) and platform transitions.

Implement partitioning schemes to enhance query performance and manage large datasets efficiently.

Script and manage Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and other encryption protocols to secure sensitive data.

Monitor and tune database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and custom diagnostic tools.

Manage high-availability configurations including Oracle RAC, Exadata, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.

Lead disaster recovery planning and execution using RMAN, Data Pump, and logical backups.

Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support development, deployment, and capacity planning.

Maintain detailed documentation of database architecture, procedures, and compliance standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.

Proven expertise in scripting for large-scale databases (2,000-3,000 tables).

Advanced knowledge of Oracle partitioning, TDE encryption, and data migration methodologies.

Strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, Bash, and Python.

Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Exadata, and cloud-based Oracle deployments.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
