Job description

We are supporting a large-scale airport technology environment that requires skilled IT professionals to help maintain, enhance, and support critical computer and information systems across multiple airport facilities. These long-term contract opportunities involve working within a complex, mission-critical infrastructure that supports airport operations, security, communications, and enterprise technology services. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of IT systems in a dynamic operational environment., * Design, configure, install, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, and related technologies.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for network outages, wireless connectivity issues, routing challenges, firewall configurations, and telecom services.
  • Monitor network performance in real time and respond to incidents to ensure maximum system availability.
  • Manage network configurations, change control processes, and capacity planning initiatives.
  • Implement network security measures including segmentation, access control, and VPN solutions.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimize network reliability, throughput, and overall efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, inventory records, and configuration standards.
  • Support infrastructure and capital projects by reviewing technical requirements and assisting with deployments.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and support network initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless network design?, * 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience implementing and supporting enterprise network environments.

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN design, routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with wireless technologies, network firewalls, VPNs, and network access control solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in real-time network monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of network security standards, best practices, and enterprise security frameworks.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, Extreme Management, Cisco Prime, or similar tools.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, change plans, and configuration records.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or PCNSE are preferred.
  • Experience with Extreme Networks technologies and certifications is a plus.
