Job description

  • Assist with the setup and installation of PCs, tablets, POS systems, peripherals, network devices, cabling, access pints, VOIP phones and other hardware.
  • Perform routine upgrades and PC maintenance, including proactive testing of equipment to ensure it is in working order; update work logs to reflect an accurate record of all testing, repairs and maintenance conducted.
  • Work directly with users to provide basic training for troubleshooting and resolving common issues; repairs hardware/software issues in a timely manner.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of IT documentation, i.e. equipment inventory and location, software versions and licenses.
  • Monitor and evaluate network performance; troubleshoot and report network issues to the IT Manager.
  • Act as a problem solver and leader in emergency situations; effectively respond to all issues with courtesy and an appropriate sense of urgency., 40 hours/week. During operational periods, Gunstock is open 7 days/week with weekends being our busiest times. While we offer alternative flexible scheduling, this position does require weekend and holiday availability (excluding Thanksgiving).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Gunstock Mountain Resort is currently accepting applications for a full-time year-round IT Support Technician. Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Technician is responsible for providing computer hardware support, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Assist with the maintenance, installation and cabling of computer hardware, software, and networks. Provide PC network connectivity and end user application support as needed. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Gunstock’s customer service standards and a demonstrated ability to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner., * Some formal education or professional training preferred but not required with experience; 2-3 years of related experience maintaining computer hardware and equipment.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory and Office 365 in an enterprise network environment.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Network server applications and Cisco Meraki switches and firewalls.
  • Wired and wireless gigabit network preferred.
  • Superior attention to detail and organization skills.
