Interface Developer

the Interface Developer will design, build, test, and support clinical and administrative interfaces that enable seamless data exchange across a large healthcare system. On a daily basis, the developer will work within Epic Bridges and InterSystems environments to develop and maintain HL7 interfaces, troubleshoot message errors, and ensure reliable real-time data flow between Epic and third-party systems. The role involves collaborating closely with clinical, application, and vendor teams to gather interface requirements, manage changes, and resolve production issues. The developer will also monitor interface performance, support upgrades and new implementations, and follow healthcare data standards and best practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.

5+ years’ experience as interface developer
