Job description

  • Manage and support enterprise Kafka environments.
  • Automate Kafka administration using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor platform health, configure alerts, and resolve production issues.
  • Collaborate with application teams, cloud providers, and Kafka vendors.
  • Perform platform upgrades, security remediation, and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Confluent Platform (CP) and Confluent Cloud administration.

Experience: 8+ Years (4+ years in Kafka/Confluent Administration)

Key Skills:

? Apache Kafka & Confluent Platform/Cloud

? Kafka Connect, Replicator, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, ZooKeeper

? Monitoring & Observability - DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, Conduktor

? Troubleshooting Consumer Lag, Connectivity Issues, AVRO Schema Mismatches, ACLs & Permissions

? Terraform, CI/CD, DevSecOps Automation

? Kafka Upgrades, Patching, Certificate Renewals & DR Activities

? Java, Spring Boot, Python, .NET application support

? Autosys Administration (Agents, Patching, Upgrades & Maintenance)
