Job description

As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with clients and Agile delivery teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications while helping organizations adopt modern software engineering practices.

Improving Atlanta is seeking experienced Senior .NET Developers who combine deep Microsoft technology expertise with modern AI-enabled software development practices. This role is ideal for consultants who leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions for enterprise clients., * 8+ years of professional software development experience.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or similar platforms as part of the software development lifecycle.
Experience with Spec-Driven Development, OpenSpec, BMAD, or other AI-enabled software engineering methodologies.
Consulting or professional services experience with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
Strong experience with:
C#
.NET Core / .NET Framework
ASP.NET Core / WebAPI
Entity Framework
SQL Server

Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of prompt-driven development, AI-assisted code generation, testing, and documentation workflows.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.

Must be located in the Metro Atlanta area and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
Azure or AWS certifications.
Experience implementing AI or Generative AI solutions within enterprise environments.
Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
