Application Specialist

This position assists the Recruiting Department in gathering information and completing investigations into Class A CDL Driver candidates seeking employment. This includes investigations of employment history, driving record, accident record, in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Administration regulations. The Application Specialist will also assist the Recruiting department with gathering documentation required for complete DOT applications., * · Responsible for verifying candidate application data and information.

• · Assist Recruiters as necessary to obtain employment verifications and accident reports.
• · Prepare driver applications with information relating to the 10-year work history investigations of prospective drivers using the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
• · Assist with conducting complete and thorough investigations of driving record, accident history, using Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
• · Conducts investigations per company’s criteria thru electronic submission, phone interviews, email, fax, and correspondence.
• · Responsible for thorough completion of other pre-employment background investigations in accordance with company policy.
• · Notifies Recruiting Manager immediately of any discrepancies that may disqualify a driver as per DOT regulations and/or company guidelines.
• · Responsible for data entry of new drivers’ information within the applicant tracking system when required.

Do you have experience in Data verification?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Customer service or Transportation: 1 year (Preferred)
