You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex hardware, ensuring robust power management, reliable communication pathways, and high-performance compute integration. Responsibilities

  • Architect and document comprehensive hardware systems, including power distribution, compute modules, and high-speed communication interfaces.
  • Select and integrate critical components such as MCUs, MPU SOMs, Ethernet switches, and motor drivers to meet system requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end schematic capture and provide expert guidance on PCB layout to ensure signal integrity and EMC compliance.
  • Execute system bring-up and validation, focusing on power sequencing, CAN FD bus diagnostics, and 1000BASE-T1 Ethernet performance.
  • Implement safety-critical control logic to ensure system reliability and graceful degradation during component failures.
  • Develop production-ready documentation, including detailed BOMs, power budgets, and comprehensive interface control specifications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SoC?, * Extensive experience designing end-to-end power trees, including buck converters and LDOs.

  • Proven track record in industrial networking, specifically with CAN FD and Single Pair Ethernet (1000BASE-T1).
  • Strong proficiency in SoC integration, including MPU SOM carrier board design and MCU-based real-time control.
  • Expertise in multi-layer PCB design for high-speed signals, high current paths, and EMI mitigation.
  • Deep understanding of hardware safety features like watchdogs, UVLO, OVP, and reverse polarity protection., * Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
  • Experience with galvanic isolation techniques and thermal analysis for motor-driven loads.
  • Proficiency in Linux driver bring-up and complex boot sequencing with PMICs.
  • Background in designing automated production test fixtures and boundary scan strategies.
