Information Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to support moderately complex security initiatives and contribute to enterprise-scale security planning. In this role, you will help analyze security challenges, implement best practices, and collaborate across engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture. What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of Information Security Engineering initiatives
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex security issues requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Partner with Security Architecture, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards
• Implement and support core security capabilities, including:
• Risk management
• Threat identification and modeling
• Monitoring and incident response
• Access management and business continuity
• Identify gaps in infrastructure security controls and drive remediation aligned to policies and baselines
• Manage security exceptions and escalate risks appropriately
• Conduct independent research and perform deep analysis to solve security problems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant solutions

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or related field
• Experience with network security, including firewalls and firewall rule/policy management
• Hands-on experience applying industry security best practices across multiple domains (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, availability)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, * Experience with Security Architecture frameworks and principles
• Familiarity with infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networking, cloud environments)
• Background in cybersecurity operations or engineering
• Experience working in large financial services or highly regulated environments
