Job description

As part of the Bosch Engineering Center, you will work on an enterprise AI integration platform that connects large language models to internal business systems via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Our stack powers secure, policy-driven AI assistant experiences across various enterprise platforms - serving thousands of users within a large corporate environment., * Develop scalable backend microservices and handle authentication, request routing, and protocol orchestration

  • Contribute to our SDK used by multiple servers across the organization

  • Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure, utilizing GitOps, modern messaging systems, and service meshes

  • Build integration servers that connect AI assistants to major business platforms and enterprise APIs

  • Implement robust security and authentication flows, including policy evaluation and secret management

  • Ensure system observability through comprehensive instrumentation, metrics, and distributed tracing

Requirements

  • 3-5 years building production backend systems

  • Strong TypeScript / Node.js; comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs and async/event-driven interfaces

  • Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (eg. Docker and Kubernetes) in production - not just local dev

  • Solid Git, CI/CD, and automated testing discipline (unit, integration, contract)

  • Cloud fundamentals: networking, load balancing, secure communications (TLS/mTLS, identity, secrets)

  • Comfortable with observability in practice - structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry)

  • Curiosity and interest in AI/LLM technology and how it intersects with enterprise software

  • Strong plus: Experience with AI/LLM integration patterns (RAG, tool/function calling, MCP, agent frameworks) Event-driven architectures and message brokers (NATS/JetStream, Kafka, etc.)
