Job description

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. The Mainframe Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications using languages such as CICS and COBOL. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mainframe systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment., * Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications

  • Collaborate with team members to develop efficient and scalable solutions
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high quality code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Document code and processes for future reference
  • Stay up-to-date on latest technologies and trends in mainframe development

Requirements

  • Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as CICS and COBOL
  • Experience developing and maintaining mainframe applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DB2 or VSAM databases
  • Knowledge of mainframe security best practices
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
