Job description

The Systems Support Specialist I (SS1) provides entry-level help desk and technical support for desktop workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices for both local and remote users. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems, supporting user accounts, and ensuring efficient system access. The SS1 delivers high-quality customer service while resolving technical issues and supporting Five Guys operations. Travel to remote locations may be required., * Provide Level I & II help desk support for end users

  • Deliver remote and on-site technical support, including travel for new store openings, acquisitions, and closures
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems, software, and user environments
  • Manage user accounts, access control, and security configurations
  • Support end users across multiple systems and applications
  • Provide telecommunications support for users and devices
  • Identify training needs and assist in user education
  • Perform administrative tasks including documentation and correspondence
  • Process invoices and submit for payment
  • Ensure compliance reporting requirements are met

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist IT team members and cross-functional departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (2+ years)

  • CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) preferred, * Strong troubleshooting skills with desktop/laptop hardware and peripherals
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard business systems, * Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
  • Capable of interpreting and responding to instructions, documentation, and business communications, * Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to use hands and arms to operate equipment
