Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Containers)

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a government-focused vulnerability remediation program. This resource will work alongside internal infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across a cloud-hosted Azure environment. This role requires deep expertise in Image Management (RHEL/Ubuntu) as well as container images for AKS, Terraform/Terraform Cloud, Azure, and CI/CD automation to join our dynamic Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Automation (CIEA) team. - candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

• 5-7+ years experience working as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer using Azure
• Strong experience with Image Managmeent, Linux OS, Terraform, Terraform Cloud, Hashi Vault, GitHub Actions, and Azure services.
• Familiarity with image promotion pipelines, container registries (ACR), and GitHub runners.
• Strong experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools like ADO, and GitHub Actions
• Strong hands on experience designing and maintaining secure container and RHEL VM image supply chain pipelines
• Proficient with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• FIPS 140-3 compliance familiarity (government encryption standards)
• Eligible for Public Trust Clearance
• Excellent communication skills and ability to hit the ground running
