Job description
Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a government-focused vulnerability remediation program. These resources will work alongside internal infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across a cloud-hosted Azure environment. This is a hands-on, execution-focused engagement requiring deep OS and cloud infrastructure expertise with no ramp time - candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

Requirements
3-5+ years experience working as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer using Azure

Strong experience creating hardened images (RHEL and Windows) within government environments

Strong experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools like ADO, GitHub Actions, and Terraform for IaC

Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Azure Linux)

FIPS 140-3 compliance familiarity (government encryption standards)

Excellent communication skills and ability to hit the ground running - Experience with Image automation tools such as Packer or Azure Image Builder

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Sentinel
