• 6+ years of experience full stack core Java development & spring boot frameworks

• Lead experience

• Frontend development in React OR Angular (both +)

• Strong SQL

• AWS deployment using Docker/Kubernetes * Banking/Finance (Capital Markets ++) industry experience

A financial company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer to be onsite at their downtown Cincinnati office. This will be a contract role through the end of the year with the anticipation that this role will either convert full-time or extend at the end.

The Lead will help lead a team of developers in the modernization efforts of one of capital markets largest applications. The role will be true full stack (60-70% front-end and 30-40% backend) role - and the individual should be impartial to back or front end/ flexible to hop into either end as the team needs change. Outside of lead responsibilities, their time will be broken down into 70-80% development, 10% participating in user stories/planning and 10% deployment and continuous integration. Communication and critical thinking skills extremely important for this team and the environment.
