The Vice President, AI for Technology and Products is a senior technology leader responsible for defining and executing the AI strategy across the Technology & Product organization. This role drives responsible, secure, and high-impact implementation and adoption of AI capabilities that accelerate technology-to-product development, improve decision-making, and unlock differentiated product value-while balancing innovation with enterprise risk, compliance, and governance requirements., * Own and execute the end - to - end AI strategy across Technology and Products, aligned to business priorities and delivered in close partnership withenterprisestakeholders-driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cycle time.
- Lead AI - enabled and software engineering transformation across the fulltechnology-to-productlifecycle, including agentic workflows,simulation-drivendecision-making, predictive analytics, andclosed-looplearning systems that accelerate execution and improvefirst-time-rightoutcomes.
- Drive and integrate cross - functional AI initiatives spanning:
- NewDRAM, NAND, and Advanced PackagingTechnology
- Silicon DesignforMemory and Logic
- End-to-EndSiliconLife Cycle Engineering
- DRAM Module and SSDDevelopment
- EngineeringProductivity Platforms and AIsolutions
- Architect, implement, and scale enterprise - grade Engineering AI platforms and engineering software solutions that support core workflows andmission-criticaluse cases, with strong foundations in security, reliability, and governance.
- Provide AI technology leadership and pathfinding ,maintainingan external perspective on emerging AI innovations and translating advanced capabilities into practical,high-impactengineering solutions.
- Build and lead a robust external AI ecosystem ,establishingstrategic partnerships with leading AI companies, EDA vendors, academic institutions, and emerging startups.
- Establish clear value realization and accountability , defining success metrics, tracking benefits, and providingexecutive-levelreporting for AI investments.
- Foster AI upskilling and an AI - driven culture across all global TPG functions, enabling broad adoption while ensuring responsible and secure use of AI technologies.
- Partner closely with the Micron AI Steering Committee and the Transformation Officer to shape and execute a coherent,company-wideAI strategy.
Requirements
- Senior executive leadership experience driving AI, data, or advanced analytics at enterprise scale.
- Proventrack recorddelivering measurable productivityand cycle timeimprovements in complex engineering or product development environments.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML technologiesandplatforms with the ability to translate strategy intoscalableexecution.
- Background insemiconductortechnology,silicon design,hardware,software,manufacturing, orsystems-levelengineering environments.
- Experienceestablishinggovernance, security, and compliance frameworksin regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Experience leading large, globally distributed technical organizations.
- Demonstrated success balancing innovation with enterprise risk management.
Benefits & conditions
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$299,195.00 - $407,155.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
