You’ll partner closely with the System Integrator (SI), City IT teams, and project leadership to guide key areas like integrations, data migration, security design, and environment strategy. You’ll help ensure we’re using Workday the right way-leveraging delivered functionality, avoiding unnecessary customization, and building a solution that’s scalable and maintainable.

This role will also act as a go-to resource for design decisions and technical risks, helping the team stay on track and maintain quality throughout the implementation.

  • Review and validate architecture and design documentation.

  • Oversee integration strategy, interface design, and dependencies.

  • Support data conversion planning, validation, and reconciliation activities.

  • Review cloud platform, environment, and infrastructure considerations.

  • Coordinate activities across City and SI teams.

  • Assess risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Review cybersecurity requirements and compliance considerations.

  • Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

  • Support environment management and deployment planning activities.

  • Participate in readiness reviews and go-live planning.

  • Provide guidance on standards and implementation best practices.

  • Support post-go-live stabilization and technical issue resolution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum twelve (12) years of enterprise technology experience.

  • Minimum seven (7) years serving as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect on large-scale implementations.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and governing enterprise application, integration, and data architectures.

  • Experience leading architecture reviews and establishing technical standards and governance processes.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, integration platforms, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise application design.

  • Experience supporting ERP, HCM, or enterprise SaaS implementations.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Public sector implementation experience.

  • Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.

  • Experience with Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.
