Job description

Renaissance Academy is seeking a student-focused Google Workspace End-User Support Technician to oversee and support our 1:1 Chromebook program and provide technology assistance to students and staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, is passionate about helping students succeed through technology, and thrives in a school environment where every interaction can positively impact a learner’s day., * Provide friendly, student-centered technical support via phone, email, or web chat for Google Workspace, Chrome OS, Microsoft applications, and other software.

  • Troubleshoot and repair Chromebooks running Google OS to keep students connected and learning.
  • Perform restorative or maintenance actions to resolve issues quickly so students and teachers can stay focused on instruction.
  • Accurately log all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and ensure devices are ready for student use.
  • Assist with PC hardware and software troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support technology initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Minimum 2 years of software application support experience (Chrome OS, Microsoft apps, etc.).

  • Experience repairing Chromebooks with Google OS.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students and non-technical users.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (preferred).
  • Commitment to creating a positive technology experience for students and staff.

EducationCertifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A+, Microsoft, or Google certifications are a plus (not required)
