Senior Linux System Administrator RHEL

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Linux System Administrator specializing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to join dynamic IT team with our esteemd State client. • Design and implement scalable system architectures incorporating virtualization technologies such as VMware and ESXi, along with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Shell Scripting, and other tools to streamline system management tasks.
• Configure and monitor critical IT infrastructure components including RAID controllers, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate on solution architecture projects involving Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Implement and oversee database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data security with backup strategies and performance tuning.
• Support DevOps practices by integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker containers, and automation tools to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
• Conduct regular system audits for information security compliance following best practices in cybersecurity measures including firewalls, VPNs, DNS security, and access controls.

Do you have experience in System troubleshooting?, * Proven experience in system administration with a focus on Linux environments-particularly RHEL-with extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems.

• Strong understanding of system architecture principles including solution design for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi), containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), Python, PowerShell (for Windows), along with automation tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL; knowledge of SQL/T-SQL is essential.
• Deep understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, load balancing techniques, DNS/DHCP configuration, VPN setup, and network security best practices.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies and SDLC frameworks to deliver reliable solutions efficiently.
• Knowledge of information security principles including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to system performance or security swiftly while maintaining detailed documentation.
