Job description
- We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Architect to lead a large-scale enterprise Master Data transformation initiative for a leading aerospace organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, architecting, and implementing enterprise-grade MDM solutions, with a focus on Informatica MDM (IDMC/Multidomain) and Reltio MDM platforms.
- This role will drive platform assessment, proof-of-concept (PoC) execution, target-state architecture design, governance framework establishment, and implementation roadmap development across multiple master data domains including Supplier, Product, and Customer. The Architect will serve as the primary technical leader, ensuring alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise data strategy., MDM Strategy & Platform Evaluation
- Lead enterprise MDM platform evaluation initiatives involving Informatica MDM and Reltio.
- Define and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) frameworks covering data ingestion, match/merge capabilities, stewardship workflows, and governance requirements.
- Perform technical and business fit-gap analysis and provide platform recommendations.
- Establish decision criteria and evaluation frameworks for MDM platform selection.
Enterprise MDM Architecture
- Design scalable, multi-domain MDM architectures supporting Customer, Product, and Supplier domains.
- Define canonical data models, golden record strategies, hierarchy management, and survivorship rules.
- Design API-driven, event-based, and real-time integration patterns.
- Establish enterprise-wide data ingestion, synchronization, distribution, and consumption strategies.
Implementation Leadership
- Develop end-to-end implementation roadmaps and domain onboarding strategies.
- Define reusable design patterns, data mappings, data quality rules, workflows, and API standards.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, and solution validation activities.
- Define DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release strategies.
Data Governance & Quality
- Implement data stewardship and governance processes within the MDM ecosystem.
- Define data quality monitoring, exception management, and remediation frameworks.
- Ensure data lineage, traceability, auditability, and compliance requirements are addressed.
- Collaborate with governance councils and business stakeholders to establish ownership and accountability.
Stakeholder & Program Leadership
- Define and operationalize the MDM Center of Excellence (CoE) and operating model.
- Facilitate executive workshops, architecture reviews, and business alignment sessions.
- Partner with business, technology, and data teams to drive adoption and value realization.
- Act as the primary architect and trusted advisor for enterprise MDM initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Multi-Domain MDM solutions.
- Proven experience leading MDM strategy, architecture, and implementation programs.
- Experience conducting MDM platform evaluations and tool selection initiatives.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise with Informatica MDM (IDMC / Multidomain).
- Strong experience with Reltio MDM and cloud-native MDM architectures.
- Deep understanding of Customer, Product, and Supplier master data domains.

- Experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of metadata management, lineage, audit controls, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of data quality tools and frameworks.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Financial Services industries.
- Exposure to highly regulated environments with strict compliance and traceability requirements.
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-driven data quality management and MDM augmentation capabilities.
- Required Leadership Skills
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading architecture workshops and executive presentations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Proven ability to drive enterprise transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
