Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Epic Certified Cadence Analyst to join our healthcare team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of Epic systems and a passion for improving healthcare services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the implementation, development, and optimization of Epic Cadence applications. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, healthcare industry knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills., 1. Utilize your expertise in Epic Cadence to analyze, design, build, test, and implement workflows that support the operational needs of our healthcare organization.

  1. Lead initiatives for Referrals and MyChart Scheduling, working in collaboration with other departments and integrated Epic applications.
  2. Support MyChart self-scheduling workflows, including direct scheduling and open scheduling.
  3. Manage referral and authorization workflows, including workqueues, referral templates, and complex rule build.
  4. Provide support or build Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot issues, providing solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and develop functional specifications.
  7. Train and mentor staff on the use of Epic applications, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Epic Cadence Analyst or similar role in the healthcare industry.
  2. Epic Referral & Authorization certification is required.
  3. Epic MyChart certification is required.
  4. Epic Cadence certification is preferred.
  5. Experience supporting MyChart self-scheduling workflows, including direct scheduling and open scheduling.
  6. Experience supporting referral and authorization workflows, including workqueues, referral templates, and complex rule build.
  7. Experience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows is preferred.
  8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow design skills.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  10. Proficiency in healthcare regulations and standards, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  11. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on organizational needs and goals.
  12. A passion for healthcare and a commitment to enhancing patient care through technology.
