Job description
We are seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Application Analyst to support scheduling, referral, authorization, and patient self-scheduling workflows within the Epic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience supporting MyChart scheduling initiatives, and expertise in Epic Referrals and Authorizations., * Serve as the primary analyst for Epic Referrals, Authorizations, and MyChart Scheduling initiatives.
- Support and optimize MyChart self-scheduling workflows, including Direct Scheduling and Open Scheduling.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot referral and authorization workflows, work queues, referral templates, and complex rule configurations.
- Analyze business and clinical requirements and translate them into Epic system solutions.
- Configure, test, implement, and maintain Epic Cadence functionality and related integrated applications.
- Support Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows and collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to improve system performance.
- Investigate and resolve application issues, workflow challenges, and user-reported concerns.
- Perform system testing, validation, upgrades, and change management activities.
- Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cadence, Ambulatory, MyChart, Referrals, and other Epic application teams.
- Participate in system optimization initiatives and recommend workflow improvements to enhance patient access and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, Epic best practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, * Epic Referral & Authorization Certification (Required)
- Epic MyChart Certification (Required)
- Experience supporting MyChart self-scheduling workflows, including Direct Scheduling and Open Scheduling.
- Experience supporting referral and authorization workflows, including work queues, referral templates, and complex rule build.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and workflow design skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple Epic application teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Cadence Certification.
- Experience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows.
- Previous experience in a healthcare system, academic medical center, or large healthcare organization.
- Strong understanding of patient access, scheduling, referral, and authorization processes., * Epic Analyst: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
