IT Security Administrator

We’re hiring a hands-on Security Administrator to be our dedicated security expert. You’ll own security across our M365 environment, network perimeter, and endpoints - working directly alongside a close-knit IT team rather than inside a siloed security function., * Configure and manage next-generation firewalls, VPNs, and network perimeter controls.

• Run XDR and SIEM platforms end-to-end - from deployment to analytic rule authoring and alert tuning.
• Lead incident response across the full lifecycle and communicate risk clearly to non-technical leadership.

Do you have experience in VPN management?, * 3-6 years of hands-on security or security-adjacent IT experience.

• Proven M365 and Entra ID security experience (Conditional Access, PIM, DLP, MFA).
• End-to-end EDR/XDR and SIEM ownership - CrowdStrike or comparable platform required.
• NGFW and VPN configuration experience; Palo Alto preferred, PCNSE a plus.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, Zero Trust, and financial institution security requirements.
• Strong communicator who can translate technical risk for a non-technical audience., * Are you authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship? Yes or No
• Have you worked in an IT environment where you were the primary or sole security resource, collaborating directly with IT generalists rather than within a dedicated security team? Yes or No
• This position is a hybrid role that requires you to be located in Iowa. Are you able to work from Iowa? Yes or No
• Do you have hands-on experience configuring security controls in Microsoft 365 or Entra ID, such as Conditional Access policies, PIM, or DLP? Yes or No
