Job description

The Data & Analytics Specialist is responsible for consolidating and translating data across Strategic Communications channels into actionable insights that drive brand growth, audience engagement, and conversion (one-time donors and membership). This role plays a critical function in breaking down data silos across Brand, Digital, PR, and CRM teams by building a unified measurement framework, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting the development of a centralized performance dashboard.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: 1. Data Consolidation & Integration

  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple platforms into a unified reporting system
  • Develop and maintain interim web-based reporting solutions (e.g., shared online spreadsheets or lightweight dashboards) prior to full system integration Support the integration of multi-source data into the internal dashboard platform (VISION) to enable centralized, real-time performance monitoring
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics tools, ad platforms)
  • Identify gaps in data collection and tracking across teams
  • Collaborate with tech/analytics teams to improve data structure, tagging, and integration
  1. KPI Framework & Measurement * Develop and maintain a structured KPI framework across the marketing funnel: + Awareness + Engagement + Consideration + Conversion (one-time donors & membership) * Align metrics across teams to ensure consistency in performance tracking

  2. Campaign & Channel Performance Analysis * Analyze performance across campaigns (digital, PR, events, content) * Conduct cross-channel analysis to identify contribution to conversion * Identify trends, opportunities, and bottlenecks in the funnel

  3. Insights & Recommendations * Translate data into clear, actionable insights * Provide recommendations to improve: + Campaign effectiveness + Audience engagement + Conversion performance * Support Growth Marketing Manager in strategic decision-making

  4. Dashboard & Reporting Development * Design and maintain dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio, or web-based reporting tools) as interim solutions * Prepare and structure data pipelines for future integration into the internal dashboard platform (VISION) * Ensure reports are clear, actionable, and accessible to non-technical stakeholders * Deliver regular performance reports (Daily,weekly, monthly, and quarterly)

  5. Tracking & Data Management System * Define and implement tracking standards: + UTM parameters + Conversion tracking + Website event tracking * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability

  6. Cross-functional Collaboration * Collaborate with: + Brand team (campaign & content performance) + Digital team (ads, SEO, website) + PR team (media impact) + CRM team (conversion & donor journey) * Act as a bridge between teams to ensure aligned measurement

  7. Ethical and Legal Compliance Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing fundraising activities. Uphold principles of transparency, accountability, and donor privacy in all fundraising efforts.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or digital analytics
  • Experience working with multi-channel marketing data (social, web, paid media)
  • Experience in dashboard development and reporting
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams is preferred

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Understanding of tracking systems (UTM, event tracking, conversion tracking)

Marketing & Analytical Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing funnel and metrics
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance across channels
  • Familiarity with paid media and SEO metrics

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and storytelling with data
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with structured thinking
