Job description

REDLattice is seeking a talented CNO Software Developer to join our team in Hanover, Maryland. This position supports advanced cyber operations through the development of innovative software solutions and mission-focused capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong software development skills, experience with Python and/or C/C++, and an interest in solving complex technical challenges in support of national security objectives., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting cyber operations

  • Analyze software and systems to identify vulnerabilities and enhancement opportunities
  • Support the development and integration of CNO capabilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across multiple environments
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and mission stakeholders to deliver operational capabilities
  • Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in accordance with engineering standards

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline. In lieu of a degree, 7 years of directly related experience may be substituted
  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience
  • Experience developing applications using Python and/or C/C++
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging software applications
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and secure coding practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with networking protocols, including TCP/IP
  • Experience with socket-level programming
  • Experience supporting Computer Network Operations (CNO) development efforts
  • Experience with low-level system internals across Windows, Linux/Unix, Mobile Platforms, or Network Devices
  • Experience with software analysis and reverse engineering
  • Experience utilizing Atlassian tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible
