Job description

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights for clinical and operational decision-making., * Develop and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data models.

  • Design and support ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with analytics, data warehouse, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, software development, or data management.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data, EHR/EMR systems, and HIPAA compliance preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: Minimum 46.66/hour - Maximum 81.67/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
