Job description

We are seeking a Parts Clerk to join our team at Boom Boom, LLC, a subsidiary of Duraflame, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of maintenance parts and other materials for the Maintenance Department., * Administer and maintain established maintenance parts inventory and reorder supplies as needed.

  • Track parts usage and cost trends.
  • Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment and track completion.
  • Organize and file equipment manuals, receipts, etc.
  • Maintain fuel stores and track usage.
  • Prepare reports on usage of parts and other materials and submit monthly to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Meet with suppliers (both on and off-premises) to arrange purchases, receive purchased materials, and learn about new or better products for the plant.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Word embeddings?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Must have basic understanding of mechanics and inventory control.

  • Knowledge of maintenance terminology and specifications of related parts and consumables.
  • Basic computer skills are required to maintain inventory and order supplies.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Candidates with English/Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Must be physically able to bend, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, twist, and sit for extended periods.
  • May be required to drive a vehicle, including a forklift. Must be OSHA certified as a forklift operator. If needed to drive a car, a valid driver’s license is required, and insurance approved by the company will be required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent, * Are you comfortable with Excel, Outlook and Word?

Experience:

  • Inventory control: 1 year (Required)
