Job description

The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for developing and maintaining backend services critical to the organization’’s product offerings, including payments, subscriptions, analytics, and text-to-speech functionalities. This role focuses on designing scalable APIs, optimizing backend performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive user experience. The position requires strategic thinking and a passion for building impactful technology in a fast-paced environment., * Design, develop, and maintain public and internal APIs for various services such as text-to-speech, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and usage tracking

  • Manage and optimize the backend API infrastructure for performance and maintainability

  • Collaborate on enterprise B2B solutions, customizing and integrating backend services

  • Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js

  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure)

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and impact

  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

  • Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

Benefits & conditions

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • United States based salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options, depending on experience
