Job description

The Software Engineer, Platform role is responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that support the organization’s various products and features such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech functionalities. The position plays a strategic role in shaping backend architecture to enhance user experience and product scalability. It is suited for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and contribute to product decisions with a focus on delivering impactful user experiences., * Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public and internal services (e.g., TTS, Payments, Subscriptions, Authentication, Consumption Tracking)

  • Manage and optimize the overall backend API environment for performance and maintainability

  • Collaborate on business-to-business solutions with emphasis on customization and integration for enterprise clients

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend systems with product strategy and user experience goals

Requirements

  • Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js

  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

  • Ability to prioritize and implement tasks efficiently based on urgency and impact

  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

  • Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

Benefits & conditions

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • United States based salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options, depending on experience
