Java Backend Developer

• Partner with technical leaders on architecture, design frameworks, and roadmap planning.
• Build reliable, scalable distributed systems and backend services on cloud platforms.
• Own features end-to-end - from prototype through production.
• Lead technical decisions for high-impact initiatives.
• Coordinate release cycles, prepare release notes, and ensure release readiness.
• Support production deployments and perform post-deployment validation.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams across a remote/hybrid setup.

Senior Backend Developer with strong Java/Spring Boot and Angular skills needed to design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and platform capabilities. This role combines backend engineering with release coordination, production deployment, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration. You’ll work in a hybrid setup, own features end-to-end, and contribute to technical decisions.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Java, Spring Boot, Angular - strong hands-on expertise
• Cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or Azure) + DevOps pipelines
• 5+ years building RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems
• CI/CD pipelines - hands-on establishment and maintenance
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Release coordination - release notes, readiness, production deployment, and post-deployment validation

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Healthcare domain experience (PBM, NCPDP, HIPAA)
• Event-driven messaging (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
• Application & Performance Monitoring tools
• SRE/DevOps practices (incident management, RCA)
