Job description

PCG Consulting is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative for a public healthcare organization.

This is a primarily remote engagement focused on building and enhancing enterprise Salesforce solutions that improve patient services, streamline operations, and enhance the experience of healthcare professionals and constituents.

Occasional client-requested travel to the Chicago area may be required during the engagement (typically limited and all approved travel expenses reimbursed).

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements and user stories
  • Build and enhance applications using Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Develop integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Create and maintain Salesforce Flows, Apex classes, triggers, and custom components
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders
  • Support testing activities including QA, SIT, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Deploy and support functionality across development, QA, and UAT environments
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow Salesforce development best practices, * 20-week contract engagement
  • Remote within the United States
  • Occasional reimbursed travel may be required based on client needs
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • This engagement will be employed on a W-2 basis for the duration of the contract
  • Unfortunately, Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements are not available for this project

Requirements

Do you have experience in Salesforce UI tools?, * 5+ years of Salesforce development experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Apex Classes and Triggers
  • SOQL and SOSL
  • Salesforce Flows
  • REST and SOAP integrations
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
  • Experience supporting deployments, releases, and environment management
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access controls
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Experience within healthcare, public sector, or other highly regulated environments
  • Experience with Copado, Gearset, Git, Salesforce DX, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Experience with Omni-Channel, customer portals, and Experience Cloud communities, * A developer who takes ownership and delivers high-quality solutions
  • Someone who can work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to best practices
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines, * Are you authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship?
