Job description

My Human Design is seeking a skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead a technical migration and integration project across our web and account systems. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless user account access, secure handling of subscription/customer data, and the reliable operation of backend systems utilizing Laravel, WordPress, and ideally WooCommerce., * Facilitate the migration, reconciliation, and integration of user accounts across existing platforms.

  • Implement and troubleshoot account-related logic within a Laravel-based backend environment.
  • Coordinate data flows between Laravel, WordPress, and potentially WooCommerce.
  • Ensure users can log in, access the correct accounts, and maintain system continuity.
  • Support workflows related to authentication, SSO, or account verification.
  • Manage subscription, membership, or customer account data with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as duplicate accounts, mismatched users, access problems, or failed synchronizations.
  • Build, test, and validate migration/integration logic before deploying to production.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand workflows, edge cases, and user impact.
  • Document technical decisions, risks, and processes during the project.

Requirements

HTML/CSSPHPWordPressLaravelSSOAPI Integration, * Extensive experience as a full-stack or backend-focused developer.

  • Proficiency in Laravel.
  • Expertise in user accounts, authentication, login flows, or SSO-style integrations.
  • Experience managing production databases and handling sensitive user/customer data.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, backend integrations, and data mapping.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex account, access, and migration issues.
  • Capability to work independently in an existing codebase.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to identify risks early., * Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, especially in subscriptions, memberships, customer accounts, or checkout/account flows.
  • Experience integrating WordPress/WooCommerce with a Laravel backend.
  • Knowledge of subscription-based products or paid digital membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with account migrations, data reconciliation, or platform transitions.
  • Understanding of production release processes, rollback planning, and QA testing for data-sensitive workflows.
  • Previous experience with subscription apps, digital products, membership communities, or content platforms.
  • Experience auditing existing account systems before making changes.
  • Experience creating migration scripts, data validation checks, or rollback plans.
  • Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and clearly communicate technical risks.
