Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users in both remote and on-site environments., * Provide support for IT-related issues via help desk and onsite ticketing systems such as Connectwise.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for Windows.
  • Assist users with desktop support, including setup, installation, and configuration of computer hardware and software.
  • Perform ethernet cabling on construction sites along with network equipment and computer installation on new projects.
  • Document all technical issues and resolutions in the help desk system to maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training and support to users on various IT tools and applications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience in customer service, with a strong focus on IT support.

  • Familiarity with help desk operations and ticketing systems, preferably Connectwise.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems in both Workgroup and Domain environments.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and their functionality.
  • Experience in providing technical support for desktop environments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Network infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of dental software systems (not required, but preferred).
