Senior Database Developer (SQL) - Project Lead

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and automation solutions
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions, and advanced queries
• Develop and support SSIS packages and integration solutions
• Participate in EDSS migration and data modernization initiatives
• Design and maintain Data Warehouse solutions
• Develop reports, dashboards, and reporting processes
• Parse and process healthcare data formats including XML, HL7, CSV, and SOAP messages
• Support eCR onboarding, data imports, process automation, troubleshooting, and reporting
• Monitor production data processing and ensure successful data flow
• Perform data validation, testing, deployment, and post-production support
• Rewrite and convert legacy SAS processes into SSIS and Power BI solutions
• Support system upgrades, database migrations, and environment configurations
• Create technical documentation, process flows, and data mapping documents
• Gather business requirements and perform gap analysis with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with DPH, CDC, HIPAA, CJIS, PHI, and PII security requirements
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices to team members

• 1+ year of experience working with HL7 v2.3.1 - v2.5.1 and ORU Messages
• 3+ years of experience processing and parsing XML data
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
• 1+ year of experience with CDC, HIPAA, CJIS, PHI, and PII security/data classification requirements
